Events | Visit Nanjo

Here you will find upcoming events and travel-related announcements.

Nanjo City hosts events of many kinds: lively gatherings by the sea, seasonal village observances, hands-on cultural experiences, and small projects nurtured by local businesses. On this page, upcoming events are laid out clearly, while past events remain as a record. More than a bulletin board of daily announcements, we are growing this page into an archive that conveys the pulse of Nanjo.

What matters most in event information is accuracy. Dates, venues, reservations, fees, and bad-weather arrangements can all change. This page conveys each event's outline and appeal; for full details, please check the latest information from the organizers and official channels.

If you plan to combine a lively event with a place meant for quiet time — such as Sefa-utaki or Kudaka Island — on the same day, allow generous time for travel between them. Events are a doorway into everyday life in Nanjo. Please enjoy them, while also respecting the time and rhythms of those who welcome you.
